This 1-day course has been designed for schools, universities, councils and professional minibus drivers.
This course focuses on prevention, protection & performance by looking at aspects of a minibus driver’s lifestyle, their health & wellbeing as well as use of the vehicle, defensive driving, hazard perception & awareness, fuel efficiency, motorway systems and all environment factors.
The date you select is for the online MinibusAWARE module. Your driver’s assessment will be conducted on another date.
There are 3-stages to this blended learning course.
Delegates will complete the DriveAWARE E-learning module.
Delegates will learn key theories, delivered online via AWARE Series TV.
Delegates will undergo a 1-hour practical driving assessment.
All training will be recorded on a digital PATAM competence and compliance app.
Focus on all aspects of prevention and protection within the minibus drivers’ control including ensuring that learners understand that their health and wellbeing is essential to their safety at work and how effective they are in their performance, how their minibus driving style affects the environment and how they can implement best practice to protect themselves and other road users.
