Did you know the government gives grants of up to £2500 to manufacturers and vehicle dealerships selling brand new electric vehicles?

Take advantage of this when buying a brand new electric car. Grants are included automatically in prices.

Which vehicles are eligible for the grant?

Only low-emission vehicles approved by the government. There are 7 categories of vehicles as shown below. 

As shown above, there are 7 categories of vehicles.

Which cars are eligible for plug-in grants?

Eligible cars can travel at least 70 miles without emissions and have CO2 emissions below 50g/km

Purpose-built vehicles having CO2 emissions below 50g/km, travelling a minimum of 70 miles with zero emissions

Which trucks are eligible for plug-in grants?

Eligible vehicles weighing from 3500 to 12000 kg, with CO2 emissions of no less than 50% compared to the traditional Euro VI vehicle holding same capacity. Can be driven for a minimum of 60 miles with zero emissions
